I had painted a young girl’s Soul Portrait when she was around 5 or 6 years, and it was clear to me, she saw herself as an adult and maybe had an understanding that she is just visiting here and she is here to make a difference! I took more photos of her when she was a few years older and she easily posed herself. I represented this feeling of distance, by painting the image of Planet Earth off in the distance. I also felt a Native American influence I represented as a feather in her hair, blowing in the wind.
