This painting was done purely from sensitivity. I had photos I used for reference, but the painting had a life of it’s own. I titled this painting TRANSFORMATION, because the painting literally transformed as I worked on it over a period of several months. I added butterflies symbolizing a young woman going through her transformation from childhood to adulthood.
